The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Supervisor to join our team at Maersk. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for managing the financial relationship with our customers, ensuring excellent results for the company and its stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out performance appraisals and providing feedback to team members
  • Analyzing reports to assess team productivity and identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensuring a positive and respectful work environment that balances results with team well-being
  • Managing the collection process to ensure timely and accurate payments from customers
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to implement process improvements and drive results
  • Delivering solutions that facilitate customer payments and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Monitoring results and creating action plans for continuous improvement

We are looking for:

  • Leadership experience with a proven track record of success
  • Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and Office software, with knowledge of SAP a plus
  • Higher education and relevant training or certifications
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results and excellent interpersonal relationships
