We are seeking an experienced economic development professional to support our rapidly growing business operations and real estate footprint expansion in Brazil.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various business teams, including operations, real estate, regulatory, legal, public policy, tax, HR, finance, and public relations, to support project investments, business expansion plans, and related site requirements.
  • Support the site selection process, including due diligence, permitting, entitlements, and project approvals.
  • Work directly with economic development organizations, investment agencies, workforce development organizations, local governments, utilities, and other key government agencies, as well as community stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
  • Craft agreements and partnerships to support projects and local communities.
  • Manage relationships with outside legal counsel, developers, and other professional service providers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 8+ years experience in economic development, government, intergovernmental organizations, or similar private sector experience working with government agencies.
  • An ability and desire to travel is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience engaging with corporate business leaders, high-level government officials, and external stakeholders, including public policy and/or government affairs experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in developing successful partnerships with all levels of investment agencies, economic development organizations, governments, and other public and private stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of facility permitting and site entitlement approval processes.
  • Significant experience in managing economic development, infrastructure, and workforce development issues for large-scale construction and expansion development projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience making presentations in public forums.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
