Job Title: Supply Chain Director

The role of Supply Chain Director is pivotal in ensuring the seamless coordination of production and distribution needs. This strategic position requires a dynamic individual who can drive operational efficiency, optimize inventory, and foster strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturing, and distribution teams.

This role involves planning, scheduling, procurement, and inventory management to support business objectives. A key aspect of this job is developing and implementing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align demand and supply. Additionally, the Supply Chain Director will create production schedules that balance efficiency, capacity, and demand fluctuations, while working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize scheduling and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement S&OP processes to align demand and supply.
  • Create production schedules that balance efficiency, capacity, and demand fluctuations.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, sales, and logistics teams to optimize scheduling and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and lead times.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure raw materials and packaging availability while mitigating supply chain risks.
  • Monitor supplier performance, addressing issues related to delivery, cost, or quality.
  • Implement inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Ensure raw materials and finished goods inventory align with demand forecasts and production plans.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy and reduce excess/obsolete stock.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, business, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in supply chain roles within food manufacturing or CPG industries.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, procurement, and inventory management best practices.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
