Medical Interpreter English and Portuguese

We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Medical Interpreter English and Portuguese. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical information between English and Portuguese speakers.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to interpretation sessions, conducting in a friendly and professional manner;
- Provide accurate interpretations according to established standards, avoiding omissions or additions;
- Speak clearly in both languages, using proper pronunciation, titles, and polite expressions;
- Maintain calm and professional demeanor during interpretation sessions at all times;
- Act with impartiality and discernment during the interpretation sessions, without demonstrating any judgments or prejudices;
- Follow customer instructions, in accordance with established standards and their terminology, to ensure expectations are met.
- Desirable experience in areas related to the English language, such as teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation;
- Minimum age 18 years;
- Fluent English speaker;
- High-speed internet connection (15 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload) with wired internet service (cable or fiber);
- Complete high school education;
- Reside in one of the following cities: Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, Parnamirim, São Gonçalo do Amarante, Macaíba, São José de Mipibu, Extremoz, Nísia Floresta, Monte Alegre;
- Meet the technology requirements: minimum speed of 15Mb (verified through speed test), upload speed 1 Mbps (verified through speed test), internet service must be wired, wireless Internet is prohibited.
