Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance for assigned projects, ensuring technical excellence and scalability.
- Mentorship: Foster the professional growth of junior engineers through regular coaching and feedback sessions.
- Issue Escalation: Proactively identify and resolve complex technical issues, escalating concerns to senior leadership when necessary.
- Work Environment Promotion: Contribute to a healthy, safe, and collaborative work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Hands-On Contribution: Collaborate closely with engineers on a daily basis, contributing to hands-on coding and implementation efforts.
- Code Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality code through rigorous code reviews, pair programming, and adherence to best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex technical issues as they arise during development and deployment.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive technical strategy that aligns with product vision and broader business goals.
- Tradeoff Evaluation: Make informed decisions regarding project scope, timeline, and resources, balancing speed, scalability, and technical complexity.
- 6+ years of software development experience, including at least 1–2 years in a technical lead or equivalent leadership role
- Proven experience leading technical projects from inception to completion
- Mastery of relevant programming languages, frameworks, and development tools
- Strong experience using and working with Contentful
- Strong experience working with Webflow, WordPress, ReactJS, Javascript, AWS, and PostgreSQL
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and task delegation capabilities
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends
- Experience in process improvement and driving change within a team or organization
