Cloud Data Engineer Position

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Cloud Data Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing and implementing distributed data pipelines using cloud-based tools.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for modeling and managing large volumes of data, ensuring performance and scalability. You will work closely with our development team to develop and maintain modern CI/CD processes for automating integrations and deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures using cloud-based platforms.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow.
  • Work with containers and master orchestration solutions, such as Kubernetes.
  • Apply good software development practices, including clean code, implementation of automated testing, version control, and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data modeling and advanced knowledge of SQL.
  • Practical experience in Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Previous experience in data architectures and building pipelines in Cloud environments.
  • Solid experience in distributed data processing, using tools like Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow.
  • Established practice in applying good software practices, including clean code, implementation of automated testing, version control, and documentation.
Preferred Experience:
  • Terraform Dataform.
  • Experience with dashboards in Looker or Looker Studio.
  • JavaScript.
