About This Role
  • This is a unique opportunity to join a talented team dedicated to accelerating support for SaaS apps across our cloud security platform.

The API Protection Team is responsible for designing and implementing scalable architectures to provide protection for enterprise SaaS application data. We focus on key abstractions across the integration pipeline: Authentication/Authorization, REST APIs, webhooks, and more.

We use popular programming languages and cloud technologies in our stack: Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Docker, Redis, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and more.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution to support our growing portfolio of API Protection solutions.
  • Develop and automate release engineering and security review processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to triage production issues and identify potential risks associated with releases.
  • Own the release process and be a customer advocate to ensure successful deployment of our solutions.
  • Help create and implement quality processes and requirements to drive excellence in our cloud security solutions.
  • Work closely with the development and design team to deliver an exceptional user experience and automate complex test suites.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years of SDET experience with cloud environments.
  • Strong Java or Python (or equivalent scripting) programming language skills, with Golang being a plus.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Drone, Spinnaker, or any other CI system, as well as experience testing distributed systems.
  • A strong understanding of Linux systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and experience building automation frameworks.
  • Experience with in-memory databases like Redis and databases such as SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB or Cassandra).
  • Bonus points for experience with REST API and proven ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical problems.
