Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Analog Engineer to join the Impinj silicon engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RF circuit designer to work on the next generation of tag and reader chips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to the team to specify and architect advanced RFID Reader ICs.
  • Create design specifications and review documents.
  • Implement low-power and low-voltage RF and analog circuits using advanced deep-submicron CMOS technologies.
  • Characterize designs in the lab to validate product functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with digital and software developers to develop an implementation that meets system requirements.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a master's or PhD degree.
  • 5+ years of experience leading analog/RF design activities.
  • Advanced ability to comprehend RF transceiver system-level requirements and translate them into circuit-level specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on experience in leading the design of various RF/analog integrated circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of IC design CAD tools, such as Spectre and EMX.
