Job Description:

This part-time role plays a crucial part in supporting our maintenance and production teams. As a Tool Crib & Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing critical parts, tools, and supplies to ensure the availability and accuracy of maintenance inventory. Your goal will be to maximize team efficiency by ordering, stocking, and issuing parts, as well as tracking and optimizing inventory using CMMS and SAP/ERP systems.

You will also support preventative maintenance by ensuring parts are 'kitted' and ready for scheduled work. Additionally, you will operate with a cost-effective mindset through research and proposal of new suppliers and parts to improve equipment uptime.

Monitoring and reducing stock-outs with proactive inventory planning is also key in this role. Furthermore, you will help improve systems, processes, and efficiency through continuous improvement and standardization efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school a plus
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude required with the ability to identify parts and use measuring tools
  • Prior experience in tool crib operations, MRO coordination, or parts inventory management
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office, inventory systems (CMMS, SAP, ERP, etc.)
  • Great communication and collaboration skills
