Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Compliance and Fraud Investigation Manager to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will oversee the integrity line, lead internal investigations, and ensure adherence to local laws and regulatory standards across our operations in the Latam region. This role demands a robust background in fraud investigations and compliance, coupled with the ability to operate independently and thrive under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the integrity line, a vital compliance channel for reporting potential violations.
  • Conduct and organize internal investigations into reported concerns, focusing on fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest, unethical conduct, discrimination, and harassment.
  • Facilitate Ethics Committee meetings, present investigation findings, and ensure the implementation of the Committee's recommendations.
  • Enhance the whistleblower system to meet regulatory standards and effectively address reported issues.
  • Develop and deliver training on the whistleblower system for employees, onboarding sessions for new hires, and workshops for relevant departments.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and records of investigations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Engage in compliance site visits, perform compliance assessments, and liaise with local units to ensure adherence to compliance protocols.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and protect sensitive information obtained during investigations in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Legal Studies, Compliance, Finance, Audit, or related fields.
  • 4-8 years of experience in internal investigations, particularly in fraud investigations.
  • Preferred: Valid ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners) certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance matters, including corruption, money laundering, terrorist financing, conflicts of interest, compliance risk assessments, ethical conduct, sanctions, and KYC procedures.
  • Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is highly desirable.
  • Experience in employing specific techniques for conducting fraud investigations.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation in Latin American countries.
  • Capacity to handle sensitive information and manage highly confidential matters.
