Customer Success Manager Job Overview

The Customer Success Manager is a primary owner of the business relationship between an organization and its customers. This key role involves establishing strategic outcomes and measurements, with a focus on customer relationships, adoption, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Take direct responsibility for managing customer relationships, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of services and products.
  • Serve as an informed thought partner to customers in all issues related to implementation rollout, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Analyze customer engagement data to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to elicit goals, provide progress updates, and keep them informed of key product updates.
  • Develop account strategies to maintain strong customer health, ensuring renewal and upsell opportunities.
  • Provide assistance in creating and provisioning customer sites, including onboarding support to ensure a successful initial experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive teacher adoption and success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in customer relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with business drivers for teachers, students, business process owners, and senior administration.
  • Experience working with and presenting results to senior-level executives preferred.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to use and interpret data analytics and spreadsheets.
