About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine and Offshore Surveyor to join our team at Lloyds Register. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for conducting critical surveys on marine and offshore structures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance in the maritime industry.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct surveys on marine and offshore structures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Develop and implement effective survey plans to meet client needs and ensure timely completion of projects.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support for survey operations.
  4. Travel throughout the region and Brazil to conduct surveys and meet with clients.
  5. Present survey findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 10 years' experience working in the marine industry, including surveyor and auditor experience.
  2. Significant technical competence in existing ship associated statutory requirements.
  3. Previous authorization to perform ISM, ISPS, and MLC audits.
  4. Fluency in both Portuguese and English language (verbal and written).
  5. Thorough understanding of the local marine and offshore environment.
  6. Ability to participate in and add value to technical discussions with clients and LR colleagues.
