Job Summary

At Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with our corporate strategies and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the hotel's annual budget, including revenue projections, expense allocations, and capital expenditure plans.
  • Perform ongoing financial analysis and provide insights on key financial metrics, variances, and trends.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and cost control measures.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and modeling to support strategic initiatives and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, corporate policies, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor and maintain proper internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Supervise the finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws and regulatory requirements related to finance and accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
