Engineering Equipment Platform Leader - Paper


At PAC Worldwide, we design solutions that protect, connect, and create impact. This role is ideal for engineers with packaging and converting expertise who thrive on solving complex challenges, driving equipment innovation, and making a tangible impact in manufacturing.


The successful candidate will oversee the engineering strategy for paper packaging converting equipment across multiple facilities, lead capital projects, translate strategic goals into advanced technologies, partner with operations and maintenance teams, collaborate with R&D and Technical Product Managers, build supplier networks, and guide the transition from beta/lab prototyping to full-scale production.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a recognized engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in equipment design for manufacturing
  • Background in Folder Gluer converting equipment (folding carton or corrugated) strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to scope and deliver projects in a matrixed environment
  • Strong project management skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
