Senior Application Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to join our team as a Senior Application Security Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled individual to drive application security initiatives and contribute to the development of secure software.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Validate vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation guidance to ensure timely resolution and minimize business risk.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive threat models for critical systems and APIs, utilizing established frameworks like STRIDE and PASTA.
  • Design and implement automated processes for securely updating applications and code dependencies, leveraging tools such as Semgrep, Snyk, Trivy, and Burp Suite.
  • Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC) to ensure robust security posture and adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address runtime security concerns, including container/Kubernetes hardening, RASP, and eBPF-based detection.
  • Maintain a security issues dashboard to track remediation status and metrics, facilitating data-driven decision making.
  • Provide real-time support during cybersecurity incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
