This role involves the professional application of expert consulting services to resolve complex issues through fact-finding and critical analysis. The practice has extensive experience conducting thousands of due diligences and investigations worldwide, with a proven track record of resolving disputes and collaborating with in-house and outside counsel on internal or regulatory inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive research on companies, individuals, and events using various sources: public databases, commercial databases, and the internet.
- Conduct site visits and interviews to gather additional information.
- Plan research timelines and tasks to meet project objectives.
- Develop an understanding of research tools and methods, including their strengths, appropriate uses, and limitations.
- Identify patterns and interpret their meaning within a specific context.
- Organize findings methodically to facilitate analysis and reporting.
- Verify and corroborate significant findings.
- Identify gaps and follow leads within project parameters.
- Prioritize multiple projects and assignments on diverse topics while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent investigative abilities.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Fluent bilingual Spanish/English skills are essential.
