Job Summary:

A Product Development Engineer

As a skilled engineer, you will be responsible for creating and executing product designs within the vehicle design and integration space for agricultural tractors. You will work in a collaborative environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply existing applications to solve routine problems;
  • Produce and/or evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications;
  • Analyze assignments and determine engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects;
  • Compile and furnish necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management, and/or supplier personnel;
  • Learn and apply company engineering policies and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering;
  • Fluent English language skills, including wide vocabulary, good grammar, conducting meetings, arguing, negotiating, and training;
  • Experience in 3D modeling using Computer-Aided Design software;
  • Practical knowledge of fundamental engineering principles such as mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, statics, dynamics, and material properties;
  • Experience with typical business computer software such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

What Makes You Stand Out:
  • Design Engineering Experience, preferably in the Ag or Construction industry;
  • Project management experience;
  • Experience working with Tolerance stack-up studies;
  • Experience with Engineering Analysis tools (i.e. Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics);
  • Knowledge of large tractor operation and usage.
