This role requires a skilled Social Community Manager to engage with consumers and audiences, identify trends and insights, monitor competitors' social media platforms, and stay up-to-date with technology and tools, including AI.

The ideal candidate will represent the brand's voice, monitor conversations, post content, and manage daily social challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping build, grow, and manage online communities for key consumer brands.
  • Social listening for conversations, topics, and trends that brands can engage in.
  • Developing community strategies, engagement plans, and growth initiatives.
  • Identifying and tracking relevant community data metrics, developing monthly reports, and outlining key insights.
  • Creating entertaining content across different tones of voice.
  • Producing ideas and executing them daily.
  • Staying current with the latest social trends and tools and bringing fresh ideas on how to use them.
  • Creating timely and culturally relevant content optimized for platforms and audiences.
  • Monitoring platforms for content opportunities and initiating conversations.
  • Championing creativity and delivering excellent customer experiences through content planning, working closely with the onsite studio to develop best-in-class content, and partnering with the client's media agency to understand campaign performance and opportunities to optimize creative.
  • Managing and reviewing creator work to ensure consistent processes are followed.
  • Acting as the brand guardian to ensure all work produced is faithful to the client's brand guidelines.
  • Aiming for adoption and use of the brand's voice – responding to and engaging with the user community.
  • Working closely with the SEO Manager to understand insights from SEO reports and monitoring.
  • Developing a social media content calendar.
  • Reposting paid advertising and influencer content to owned pages.
  • Social monitoring and response, working with CRC and passing on or escalating consumers requiring CRC attention.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience (or willingness to learn) with GenAI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Jasper, etc.
  • Experience (or willingness to learn) with GenAI techniques such as model selection & prompting.
  • Any experience using GenAI to deliver real-world advertising creative.
  • Experience growing and engaging a community and building a significant follower base on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • PASSION FOR DELIVERING ON-BRAND AND ON-BRIEF SOCIAL COMMUNICATIONS.
  • Pro-active planning and leadership of creative community initiatives.
  • Practical knowledge of managing social media channels, especially their intricacies.
  • A thirst to learn more and discover new and exciting trends within the social space.
  • Ability to manage and filter workflow, prioritize workloads to maximize productivity.
  • Understanding of integrating with a client-side team while maintaining top-tier agency service.
  • Ability to learn and understand consumer experience with client products/services/promotions.
  • Expertise in brand safety on social platforms.
  • Content creation skills (blogs, tweets, gifs, memes/other visuals).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to recognize superior design and maintain a consistent aesthetic.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods (preferably).
