Database Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Database Support Specialist to join our global team of engineers. This mid-level position requires strong knowledge of database systems, as well as experience with various tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch support for customers, understanding their business needs and technical environments.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to improve and develop your skills, becoming proficient in databases beyond your current level.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, growing your skillset with new technologies.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including its tools and contribution modules.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL ecosystems, including backup solutions, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Experience with High Availability solutions, such as Patroni and repmgr.
  • Understanding of monitoring requirements and ability to work with customers in English.
  • Self-taught and enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • MySQL knowledge.
  • Experience working in SLA-bound operations.
  • OpenSource Community contributions.
  • Experience programming in C.
Work Environment

This is a 100% remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world with a stable internet connection. You will need to participate in the on-call team schedule and be available for occasional team meetings, conferences, or customer visits.
