Product Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software products. As a Product Quality Assurance Specialist, you will design, implement, and execute efficient testing processes to identify potential issues early and ensure seamless functionality.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (development, product, and design) to understand requirements and proactively suggest quality improvements. You will also conduct regression testing to ensure stability and reliability after code changes, deployments, and feature additions.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications to validate usability and performance
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects and inconsistencies using tools such as JIRA and Slack
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and proactively suggest quality improvements
  • Stay informed on emerging testing tools, techniques, and best practices to continuously refine testing strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, or similar role, preferably with exposure to multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop)
  • Developer background or familiarity with coding practices to collaborate effectively with engineers
  • Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices while being adaptable to other methodologies or workflows
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and investigate complex issues for a deeply technical platform
  • Clear and timely communication skills to effectively convey findings to technical and non-technical teams
