Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Electronic Test and Measurement Equipment Field Service Engineer. This is a full-time role based at our Bethlehem, PA facility, where you will perform calibration on a wide range of manufacturers equipment and Keysight products.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Perform manual and automated calibration, adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of test & measurement electronic equipment and optical/telecom equipment at our service center.">
  • Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware and system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required.">
  • Utilize strong computer skills including automated Calibration Systems, National Instruments LabVIEW, NI MAX and Agilent I/O.">
  • Understand and utilize STE, TME, and PC-based software as required.">
  • Work and adhere to quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025 Keysight quality program.">
  • Assist in maintaining the Calibration team's accreditation through participation in proficiency testing, quality measure assurance programs, and applicable training.">
  • Use excellent communication and organizational skills to interface with customers and peers.">
  • Manage daily operations, procedure updates and internal laboratory equipment.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • A university degree, technical school diploma or military PMEL/TMDE equivalent industry experience.">
  • A minimum of five years related experience in field customer support of test and measurement instruments.">
  • Calibration service experience on Keysight and non-Keysight test equipment to include RF/Microwave skills to 50 GHz.">
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with team members, customers, and management while upholding high ethical standards.">
  • Knowledge of current quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025.">
  • The willingness to learn system/automated calibration software and ability to calibrate instruments manually and with automated procedures.">
  • Experience with automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) is a plus.">
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.">
  • The ability to understand project timelines, goals, and processes and take the lead to complete requirements.">
  • Local residency or willingness to relocate to Bethlehem, PA.">
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and willingness to work overtime as needed.">
