Job Summary:

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced IT Professional to secure, stabilize, and scale our Linux-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Linux System Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage Linux system infrastructure using primarily Red Hat and Oracle Linux.
  • Automation: Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts for configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Enterprise-Wide Automation: Utilize automation tools to manage enterprise-wide automation strategies.
  • Advanced Linux Patching: Perform advanced Linux patching, security updates, and OS hardening.
  • Scripting: Write and maintain scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent environments, and document processes, system changes, and configurations.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using industry-standard tools.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Linux).
  • Strong proficiency in automation, including custom script development and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced scripting skills for automation and system tasks.
  • Proficient in version control systems for collaboration.
  • Experience with system provisioning and patch management.
  • Deep understanding of Linux patching strategies, kernel upgrades, and OS lifecycle management.
  • Experience working in secure, enterprise IT environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with other programming languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Familiarity with configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) with Linux workloads.
