The role of Automation Expert Solution Specialist is critical in driving enablement and adoption of EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE) within our Centre of Excellence (COE). This position involves collaborating closely with sales teams to provide in-depth technical expertise and advanced troubleshooting support for EAE implementation in customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical pre-sales support on automation & control system architectures to accelerate sales and increase conversion rates using EAE.">
  • Act as a technical SME at the customer site to define and implement optimal automation & control system architectures with EAE.">
  • Identify technical requirements and constraints for EAE adoption and propose suitable solutions.">
  • Explain and demonstrate the technical advantages and disadvantages of proposed architectures using EAE.">
  • Create solution architectures and demos to support sales efforts, highlighting EAE's value.">

This role demands a highly skilled technical professional with deep technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT programming, or related fields.">
  • Experience in embedded software engineering, with a strong IT focus preferred.">
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming, Windows/Linux development, Docker/Kubernetes, virtualization, and C# programming for HMI integration.">
  • Networking experience with LAN, WAN, VLAN, routers, and protocols like TCP/IP, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT.">
  • Ability to develop code and design system architectures for industrial applications.">
  • Hands-on knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP.">
  • Deep expertise in PLC programming, SCADA/DCS, and industrial networking.">
  • Extensive experience in designing and deploying large-scale automation solutions.">
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.">
  • At least 5 years of experience in automation solution development and programming.">
