Required Skills & Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering with expertise in Azure tool Stack (Databricks, ADF, Synapse Analytics)
  • A good understanding of other Azure services such as Azure Functions and Event Grid would be an advantage
  • Strong SQL and transformation skills are required
  • The ability to write, review and examine code written in Python and PySpark is necessary
  • Proficiency in Devops CI/CD processes is essential
  • Expertise in relational databases is mandatory
  • Fundamental knowledge of data warehousing concepts is required
  • Ability to optimize SQL queries within data lakes using Delta format
  • Cost optimization skills

  • Azure solution architecture experience
  • Tableau and PowerBI skills
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data integrations and preprocessing solutions
  • Support data assets maintenance and sustain activities
  • Integrate data from various sources into the enterprise data foundation
  • Collaborate with stakeholder teams to resolve issues
  • Work on user stories for data ingestion into bronze and silver tables
  • Coordinate with data governance, stewardship, and modeling teams
  • Manage tech debt items and collaborate with the Scrum Master
