Job Summary
The Capital Management Associate role is a critical position within the Brazil Legal Entity Controller group, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial statements. This role involves collaborating with a team to manage capital for legal entities in the region, including supporting regulatory reports, implementing new regulations, and conducting analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in preparing regulatory reports, adhering to Brazil's regulatory requirements and fostering a controlled environment.
- Actively participate in the implementation of new regulations, including RWADRC, RWAOPAD, and FRTB, as well as adjustments to lending limits due to RWADRC.
- Provide analytical support for regulatory limit analysis, oversee PIS&Cofins, and contribute to the development of new products and initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual Capital Plan.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with capital management regulatory reports (DDR, DLO, DRM, Pillar 3, etc).
- Deep knowledge of banking products, derivatives, and associated risks.
- Expertise in bank regulatory capital rules.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial calculations.
- Proficiency in MS Office package.
- Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Strong analytical and logical skills.
- Proactive attitude and interest in learning.
