Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Capital Project Consultant to join our team in Latin America. The successful candidate will lead evaluations and consulting for major Energy players to help them improve the effectiveness of their capital projects as they transition into a zero-carbon environment.
Responsibilities
* Working directly with capital project teams and project organizations of major E&P companies to improve business competitiveness
* Interfacing with clients to collect and analyze technical, cost, schedule, and project management data
* Writing reports with insight and a customer focus
* Delivering verbal feedback and public presentations
* Conducting research on drivers of project success or failure using proprietary databases and statistics
Requirements
* Bachelor degree or Master's degree in engineering, science, statistics, operations research, economics, or allied fields
* Minimum of 1 year relevant experience with upstream oil & gas projects
* Proven record of carrying out independent research or using a variety of statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data
* Strong analytical skills, ability to relate data and statistical analysis to real-world application, and proven ability to find creative solutions to complex problems
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, display the interpersonal skills needed to develop and maintain relationships at senior levels with client companies, and have a demonstrated aptitude for learning new concepts and applying them quickly
* Fluency in Portuguese and English, while Spanish is an advantage
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. IPA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
