Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our housekeeping and laundry operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Inventory Management

Ensure that inventory levels of linen, uniforms, and other essential items are maintained at optimal levels, and that requisitions are approved in a timely manner.

Supply Chain Management

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure that our housekeeping and laundry operations are supported with high-quality products and services.

Pest Control and HACCP

Oversee the pest control service and work with the Stewarding Manager and Chief Engineer to establish pest control schedules, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Sustainability and Cost Control

Implement sustainable practices and cost-saving initiatives to reduce our environmental impact and minimize waste.

Quality Assurance

Monitor and maintain the highest standards of quality in our housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a clean and comfortable environment.

Lost and Found and Room Key Management

Supervise and control the Lost and Found process, maintain accurate records, and ensure that room keys and section keys are securely managed.

Reporting and Forecasting

Prepare and review reports on housekeeping and laundry operations, including forecasts and statistics, to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Communication and Teamwork

Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, including the Director of Rooms, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  1. Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping, with a proven track record of leadership and operational management.

Leadership and Communication Skills

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.

Interpersonal and Organizational Skills

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
