Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in the Kalamazoo area. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
  • Project Tracking: Weekly tracking of resource and project progress and posting.
  • Documentation: Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
  • Financial Coordination: Coordinate and pursue project specific billing with service biller.
  • Commissioning: Schedule project specific commissioning resources with control technician and control engineer; and communicate commissioning documentation.
  • Customer Communication: Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoots HVAC equipment, systems, controls, and refrigeration.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Performs equipment startups, warranty repairs, service repairs, scheduled maintenance, and offers sale support to customers.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in HVAC service.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Punctual, courteous, organized and customer service oriented.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Record Keeping: Able to keep accurate and legible daily records.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid Michigan Driver's license - minimal violations.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
  • Travel: Travel to Kalamazoo office and Benton Harbor/St Joseph office will be required.
  • Problem-Solving: Superior organizational and planning skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, Day Shift
8 Hours/Day
