About the Role

A highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer will perfect enterprise infrastructure DevOps practices, raising the bar on what's possible with automation by embracing a model-driven approach, whether on-premise or on public clouds.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Linux, Python, networking, and knowledge of how clouds work. They will be responsible for deploying and running OpenStack, Kubernetes, storage solutions, and open source applications, applying DevOps practices to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy and run OpenStack, Kubernetes, storage solutions, and open source applications using DevOps practices to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Linux Expertise: Work on operational experience in Linux environments, with a focus on full stack knowledge from bare metal to containers to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address incidents, monitor and observe applications, anticipate potential issues, and enable product refinement to meet business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Software Engineering: Degree in software engineering or computer science to apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems.
  • Python Development Experience: Python software development experience to leverage language skills and expertise.
  • Operational Experience in Linux: Operational experience in Linux environments to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Kubernetes Deployment Experience: Experience with Kubernetes deployment or operations to leverage container orchestration skills.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability to drive collaboration and results.
Bonus Skills:
  • Familiarity with OpenStack Deployment: Familiarity with OpenStack deployment or operations to leverage cloud infrastructure management skills.
  • Familiarity with Public Cloud Deployment: Familiarity with public cloud deployment or operations to leverage scalability and cost-effectiveness.
