Canonical, a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to global markets, is seeking an Enterprise Project Manager.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project success through ownership, communication, and stakeholder engagement. This role entails delivering programs and projects within schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resource expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise IT programs, process improvement, and software engineering project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure programs and projects are delivered within specified parameters.
  • Identify key technical and project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain strong customer focus and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to lead cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams and customers.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Deep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • Agile Project Management certification (Scrum Master or equivalent).
