Financial Planning and Analysis Professional

About the Role:

This role will be responsible for leading the full financial planning cycle (annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and mid- to long-term plans) for South American countries. The successful candidate will work closely with the FP&A Director and other business leaders to provide strategic support by translating financial data into insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Manage the development, motivation, goal setting, retention, and performance of team members, aiming to maximize both individual and team performance.
  • Financial Planning: Lead the full financial planning cycle (annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and mid- to long-term plans) for South America, ensuring accuracy and critical analysis of the information provided by the team.
  • Cash Flow and Balance Sheet Activities: Coordinate result projections, balance sheet, and cash flow activities for South America.
  • Regional Financial Data Consolidation and Analysis: Consolidate and analyze regional financial data, ensuring consistency with global policies and compliance with local regulations.
  • FP&A Team Development: Coordinate and develop local FP&A teams, ensuring process integration and standardization of models and tools.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial analyses and reports requested by global and regional teams.
  • Variance Analysis and Risk Identification: Develop variance analyses (actual vs. budget vs. forecast), identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective actions.
  • Pricing, Profitability, CAPEX, Strategic Projects, and Operational Efficiency: Support pricing, profitability, CAPEX, strategic projects, and operational efficiency processes in partnership with business units.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in processes, report automation, and the use of analytical tools.
  • Investment Project Analysis: Support and validate return analysis for investment projects.
