Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Elixir Developer to lead the development of scalable and maintainable applications using Elixir and Phoenix. This individual will be responsible for integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, building reusable code and libraries for future use, optimizing application performance and scalability, implementing security and data protection measures, designing and implementing data storage solutions, developing a scalable and maintainable architecture, ensuring optimized performance of the web application, implementing best practices and conventions, participating in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, reviewing, refactoring, and maintaining codebases, and deploying web applications to staging and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimized performance of the web application

  • Review, refactor, and maintain codebases
  • Deploy web applications to staging and production environments
Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience working with Elixir/Phoenix
  • Proficient knowledge of back-end programming languages or frameworks: Elixir/Phoenix (Node.js, Ruby on Rails are a plus)
  • Experience working with Scrum Teams
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Understanding of Architectural Patterns and Microservices
  • Experience with GraphQL APIs is a plus
  • Experience using testing frameworks
  • Good understanding of Linux command line
  • Basic experience building semantic and accessible HTML, CSS
  • Basic experience working with JavaScript
  • Advanced English level
