The Sr Vendor Manager will play a pivotal role in driving vendor performance and negotiating terms at Amazon Brazil. This includes analyzing business data, improving product category sales, and reacting to industry-related economic trends.
Responsibilities:- Own the Retail business end-to-end, including P&L management, for subcategories or vendors.
- Manage inputs by driving selection, securing great prices, and increasing convenience/speed.
- Audit and escalate vendor performance, improve terms and cost structures through negotiation, and develop long-term partnerships with new and existing vendors.
- Represent customer and business needs in interaction with central teams, projects, and initiatives.
- Team management experience.
- Account management, project, or program management or buying experience.
- Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing, and promotion or inventory management.
- Master's degree.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
- Experience using data to influence business decisions.
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
