Job Overview

The Sr Vendor Manager will play a pivotal role in driving vendor performance and negotiating terms at Amazon Brazil. This includes analyzing business data, improving product category sales, and reacting to industry-related economic trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the Retail business end-to-end, including P&L management, for subcategories or vendors.
  • Manage inputs by driving selection, securing great prices, and increasing convenience/speed.
  • Audit and escalate vendor performance, improve terms and cost structures through negotiation, and develop long-term partnerships with new and existing vendors.
  • Represent customer and business needs in interaction with central teams, projects, and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Team management experience.
  • Account management, project, or program management or buying experience.
  • Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing, and promotion or inventory management.
  • Master's degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
