Drive Business Success as a Data Engineer

As a seasoned data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and shaping data platforms that power business success. This is not just about code and databases; it's about transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with specialists and stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into effective data solutions.
  • Apply critical thinking and structured methodologies to drive data transformation initiatives with domain expertise, consulting skills, and software engineering.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, including effort estimation and time management, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:Cloud & Data Platforms
Proficiency with AWS Glue (ETL, Data Catalog, Crawlers), hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, Lambda, and S3, and experience working with Databricks are essential. Familiarity with Confluent Schema Registry, orchestration tools like Airflow or Control-M, ETL & Data Pipelines experience, strong development skills using PySpark or Scala for ETL, knowledge of Kafka-based streaming and batch ingestion, ability to design real-time and batch data pipelines.

Data Governance & Quality
Experience with data profiling and governance tools like Ataccama and Voyager, understanding of data lineage tracking and metadata management, familiarity with PII detection and data masking techniques, and experience with schema validation and data contracts are required. Proficiency in Python scripting, experience using Pytest for unit testing, ability to implement automated data profiling and anomaly detection, knowledge of Data Lake architecture using Parquet or Delta formats, feature engineering for AI/ML applications, and curating datasets optimized for AI/ML readiness.

Visualization & Reporting
Experience integrating and optimizing Power BI dashboards, ability to build real-time analytics dashboards, and knowledge of incremental refresh and row-level security in reporting tools are necessary.
