Johnson Electric is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead our Aruja, Sao Paulo, Brazil facility to excellence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving production goals, ensuring quality, quantity, costs, and deadlines are met, while prioritizing employee safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operations strategies and plans to support long-term business needs and short-term expectations.
  • Define operational metrics and operating models for manufacturing functions that align with lean operational practices.
  • Lead the development and implementation of teams and tools that drive superior operational results and sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Support the organization in recruiting, performance management, and succession planning processes.
  • Provide leadership and support for various strategic and tactical initiatives as needed.
  • Develop skills and competencies to prepare for internal and external company growth and potential expanded responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, management, and supervisory skills.
  • Advanced professional English.
  • Ability to manage people and maintain good relationships with all levels of the workforce.
  • Strong leadership skills, well-developed management skills, and a good listener.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and motivate staff to balance strength with profitability and growth.
