Job Overview

The Area Manager - Nights role is a pivotal position at our distribution center. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the assigned area, partnering with various departments to ensure seamless execution.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and administer operational procedures to guarantee accurate inventory management, efficient product handling, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with corporate resources and facilities staff to drive cost savings and enhance service levels.
  • Culture Development: Model QVC Group Values and principles to build a positive, motivating work environment that promotes fairness, ethics, and respect for all employees.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing operations to identify areas for improvement, leading to cost reduction, increased speed, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership: Oversee daily operations, working closely with other departments to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Identify trends and irregularities, communicate effectively with the Department Manager, and develop plans to address deficiencies.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or related field.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years in a high-volume distribution center or warehouse environment.
  • Skills: Ability to encourage a positive work environment and partner with employees.
