Position Overview
The Senior Consultant for Global Mobility Solutions plays a crucial role in assisting corporate clients with the management of their personnel who are relocating for international assignments. This position serves as the main point of contact for international assignees, ensuring the effective delivery of various assignment management services in accordance with the employer's international assignment policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- 60% of Time
Oversee the provision of assignment management services, which includes policy guidance, destination services, logistics for household goods, visa and immigration support, departure services, expense management, ongoing assignment assistance, repatriation, and global compensation/payroll. Interpret the clients' international assignment policies and evaluate various options to provide tailored advice and consultation to international assignees based on their specific needs and country requirements. Maintain ongoing communication with the assignee throughout the duration of the international assignment. - 20%
Coordinate with all internal departments to ensure a seamless experience for the assignee. Manage communication with Global Certified Providers to guarantee high-quality service delivery. - 10%
Engage with the client's HR representatives regarding relocation and assignment matters affecting the employee and their family. Assist with exception management by providing recommendations on specific policy exceptions. Keep the client informed of assignee status updates, addressing issues proactively and offering solutions as they arise, while also completing client projects and reports as needed. - 10%
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to provide effective support to the Manager, Clients, and Assignees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in relocation or 3 years of related customer service experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international assignment management and global business practices.
- Ability to identify potential challenges and devise innovative solutions independently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being a self-starter.
- Proficient in managing deadlines, multitasking, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation skills, business etiquette, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in PC applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and relevant job-related systems.
- Preference for candidates with overseas work or living experience.
- Preference for candidates with additional language skills.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma is required.
