We are seeking a seasoned employment lawyer to join our dynamic legal team as an Employment Counsel - LATAM. This is a pivotal role that will play a vital part in helping us navigate the complexities of employment law and compliance across Latin America.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice on a broad range of employment law matters throughout the region, including hiring practices, employee relations, accommodations, disciplinary processes, terminations, workplace investigations, and employment compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice on employment law matters throughout the LATAM region
- Develop innovative solutions to manage employment-related legal risks
- Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to develop and implement employment practices and HR policies
- Manage employment-related disputes, claims, and litigation across LATAM
Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer in Brazil, Colombia or another jurisdiction in the LATAM region
- 5-8 years of employment law experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Experience working at a multinational company across various jurisdictions is a plus
