About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As a key member of our Product Analytics team, you will be responsible for driving data-driven decisions that impact customer growth and engagement.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with product intuition, advanced analytics, and causal inference to understand customer behavior and measure product impact on revenue retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply data-driven methodologies to analyze customer behavior, retention trends, and product adoption.
  • Design and implement predictive models, causal inference methods, and experimentation strategies to measure and optimize the effect of product changes on customer growth and engagement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify key opportunities for improving customer engagement and long-term retention.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to build scalable data pipelines that support product analytics and reporting.
Requirements
  • Masters degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a data science, analytics, or related role focused on product analytics.
  • Strong experience with SQL and Python (or R) for data analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies, causal inference, and predictive modeling.
  • Ability to translate complex data insights into strategic business recommendations.
Bonus Points
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS or fintech.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Amplitude or StatSig.
