About Vision Automation

We're developing a system that accelerates digital manufacturing for interior spaces, from online 3D configuration to ready-to-machine outputs.

Our roadmap includes building AI tools that convert floorplans into 3D layouts to accelerate design and production workflows.

Your Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll lead the development of a system that analyzes floorplan images and converts them into 3D geometry – walls, doors, windows, and more – ready for our engine.

You'll develop core AI capabilities and work closely with our teams to bring intelligent layout recognition to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and train deep learning models to extract spatial information from 2D floorplans.
  • Develop pipelines to convert detected geometry into structured 3D models.
  • Work with vector data and images to detect architectural features.
  • Collaborate with engineers to translate AI output into parametric geometry.
  • Optimize models for speed, accuracy, and usability in real-world environments.
  • Create optimal cabinetry layouts and suggestions from designer data.
Requirements

We're looking for experienced professionals with strong expertise in machine learning and computer vision.

Mid-Level Requirements:

  • Strong experience with deep learning frameworks and vision models.
  • Experience in computer vision or document parsing.
  • Understanding of geometry-based learning and spatial context.
  • Ability to translate model output into geometric representations.

Senior Level Requirements:

  • Advanced expertise in geometry-based learning, OCR with spatial context, and complex vision systems.
  • Proven ability to lead ML projects from conception to production.
  • Experience with CAD/BIM environments, geometry processing libraries.
  • Track record of deploying ML models in real-world manufacturing or design environments.
  • Project leadership and team mentoring experience.
