We are seeking a seasoned Automation and Control Specialist to drive efficiency, safety, and productivity across our operation.
Key Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will design, develop, implement, and optimize process control and automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
They will leverage expertise in hardware and software selection, evaluation, and integration to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities also include providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex system faults, performance deviations, and communication errors.
Additionally, they will develop and implement solutions to recurring automation problems, focusing on root cause analysis.
The specialist will ensure the reliability, availability, and cybersecurity of all control systems, including network infrastructure and data integrity.
They will implement and manage disaster recovery plans and backup procedures for critical control systems.
The specialist will establish and enforce standards for programming, configuration, documentation, and system maintenance.
Leadership and project management skills are required to lead and manage automation and control projects from conception through commissioning.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field is necessary.
No less than 9 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, control systems, or instrumentation is required.
Proven project management experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of automation, controls, electrical, and instrumentation systems is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience guiding teams is necessary.
Experience working with various software platforms, including EcoStruxure, Vijeo Designer, and Wonderware Archestra, is desired.
Familiarity with industrial hardware, such as PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and field instrumentation, is required.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
