Remote Senior Android Developer OpportunityThis senior-level position is available for skilled professionals who have experience in developing and shipping Android applications to large user bases. Candidates will integrate directly into the client's team, working alongside designers and engineers on a daily basis.To be successful in this role, applicants should possess advanced English language skills and a strong proficiency in Kotlin. Additionally, they should have experience with RxJava, HTTP networking, and Android database frameworks such as Room and SQLite.A strong understanding of Android UI/UX best practices is also essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with TypeScript, React, and NextJS, as well as exposure to iOS development using Swift or Objective-C. Familiarity with web UI frameworks like Angular and analytics tools such as Firebase and Amplitude is also beneficial.The selected individual will be able to work independently and contribute to libraries as needed. They must have a positive mindset, a can-do attitude, and excellent communication skills. Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and meaningful experience working on large, complex systems is required.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality Android applications with expertise in Kotlin, RxJava, and Android database frameworks.
  • Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Contribute to library development and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and shipping Android applications.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
  • Experience with RxJava, HTTP networking, and Android database frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Android UI/UX best practices.
  • Experience with TypeScript, React, and NextJS.
