Brightwheel is seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the implementation and evolution of our data platform.


About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust, extensible, and performant data platforms using modern tooling.
  • Build thoughtful and reliable data acquisition and integration solutions to meet business requirements and reporting needs.
  • Delve into complex technical issues and deliver best-in-class application reporting solutions for customers.
  • Scale existing data pipelines, models, and solutions, while continuously improving their performance.

Your Qualifications
  • Technical Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a data engineer/dev ops/software engineering, with expertise in Python programming language.
  • Experience deploying data processing infrastructure as Code into cloud environment.
  • Advanced understanding of big data processing technologies, such as Spark/Hadoop/Redshift/BigQuery/Snowflake.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to manage complex process and technology issues without much guidance.
