At Latitude.sh, we are seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical role in our Finance team. This position involves overseeing various accounting and tax compliance processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability in our growing global operation.

As an Accountant Analyst, you will be responsible for executing monthly closing processes, reconciling accounts, and guaranteeing timely and accurate submission of tax obligations. Additionally, you will collaborate with external auditors and support internal and external audit processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute monthly accounting closing, including preparation and review of balance sheet and P&L accounts.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Calculate and ensure the correct payment of direct and indirect taxes (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS).
  • Guarantee timely and accurate submission of tax obligations (ECD, ECF, DCTF, SPEDs).
  • Collaborate with external auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Solid experience in accounting routines, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and obligations.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Functional English for reading documentation and participating in global interactions.
  • Proactive, analytical profile with strong communication skills.
