Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team.
This role requires a thorough understanding of financial operations, including accounting and finance fundamentals such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, and reporting.
- Maintain financial best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Assist in the recording of all revenue and expenses in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Maintain a clear and easily readable general ledger in QuickBooks Online.
- Update and maintain spreadsheets in Google Sheets to track financial data.
- Collect payroll data in a timely manner to assist with payroll processing.
- Track special pay and calculate commission commissions.
- Maintain a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast tied to actual and projected revenue and expenses.
- Monitor bank account activity and balances.
- Enter all bills received into QuickBooks Online, ensuring compliance with our terms.
- Prepare a weekly bill list for payment approval and processing.
- Enter payments into the ACH system in the bank and update relevant records (Google Sheets, QuickBooks Online).
- Alert management of pending payments in the bank that require approval.
