We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our workforce, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the direction of licensed professionals.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver clinical care and support services to patients, including taking medical histories, scheduling appointments, and responding to patient inquiries.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, phone calls, and correspondence.
- Prepare patients and equipment for exams/procedures and maintain exam rooms and clinical areas in a clean and organized state.
- Collect and process lab specimens/lab requisitions accurately and coordinate referrals and procedures.
- Identify potential patient risks and communicate them to licensed nurses or providers promptly.
- Possess a specialized diploma in Medical Assisting.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Exhibit strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), word processing, and Excel.
- Obtain American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification within 30 days.
