Senior Business Analyst

Job Overview:

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for leading a team of business analysts in identifying solution and product needs during the requirements gathering, design, implementation, training, and testing phases of the project.

About This Role:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify functional requirements.
  • Analyze and evaluate system use cases and information models to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop object models, user interfaces, data processing algorithms, and integration interfaces to meet customer needs.
  • Evaluate product configurations to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Determine best practices for pre-sale processes and implement improvements.
  • Contribute to analysis, design, and acceptance stages on prototype, proof-of-concept, product, and implementation projects.
  • Identify gaps in existing solutions and create new user scenarios to address business needs.
  • Conduct market and technology research in the telecommunications industry to stay up-to-date on OSS/BSS, Network Automation, and Orchestration standards.
  • Participate in the development of new NetCracker modules and components.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior network engineering or analytical positions.
  • Knowledge of UML, YANG, and data modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with OSS/BSS and telco standards such as TMF, ETSI, ITU, 3GPP, IETF, MEF, ONAP.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (RUP, Agile, etc).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Maths, or related field.
