Secondary Geography Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Secondary Geography Teacher to join our team at a leading international school in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Geography to students aged 11-17, creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the development of the school's curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Geography, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Geography to students aged 11-17
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the decision-making process
  • Support the school's mission and values
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., M.Ed.)
  • A degree in Geography or a related subject
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English (CEFR C1 level or above)
