Pre-Sales Solutions Architect Leader

A pre-sales solutions architect is sought after to lead client discovery and whiteboard sessions alongside a tech lead.
The ideal candidate will translate ambiguous client needs into clear, actionable requirements, build a strong rapport with business and technical stakeholders, and own the creation of proposals, timelines, and solution outlines.
Collaboration with sales, UX, QA, and engineering on scoping, identifying constraints, risks, and edge cases early in the conversation, breaking down solutions into project phases and feature groupings, documenting deliverables: process flows, vision docs, feature sets.
The role requires adapting quickly to changes in client needs or scope expectations, influencing pre-sales process improvements with insight and initiative, maintaining high EQ in stakeholder conversations, especially with executives, contributing to shaping how we scope and sell projects at the company.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience in consulting or custom software delivery environments
- Proven background supporting pre-sales, scoping, or discovery phases
- Strong history of working with cross-functional teams (Tech Lead, UX, QA)
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, and common delivery risks
- Experience in mid-sized or growth-stage tech firms
- Background collaborating with stakeholders across business and tech
