Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team.

As a Fund Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting new fund clients in their journey with our services.

  • Liaise between teams as the bridge post-sales for new fund clients, facilitating effective communication and ensuring successful onboarding.
  • Interact with fund managers and CFOs to collect historical accounting data, provide advisory support, and deliver accurate financial statements to stakeholders.
  • Book and reconcile all accounting records from unstructured client data, reproducing Capital Calls, Distributions, Expenses, Investments, Management Fees, Financial Statements, and Partners' Capital.
  • Resolve escalations related to data migration, historical accounting discrepancies, and client onboarding issues, providing timely solutions and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage customer onboarding for medium to high complexity clients by setting clear expectations, managing timelines, and completing compliance procedures pre go-live.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, delivering a white-glove experience through on-site visits, needs anticipation, and effective use of Carta app capabilities.
  • Identify process improvements, assist with internal reviews, Quality Assurance, and train junior team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Share accounting and onboarding specifics with upstream teams for efficient post go-live fund administration.
